Return to Project pageThe Eric Waller Mount Washington Community Vegetable Garden was established in the spring of 2011. Membership now boasts over 60 households and has a waiting list. This organic garden utilized mushroom compost from the start, and is overseen by master gardener, Larry Kloze. The multi-generational participation has had a bountiful effect for food to community and family closeness. Food is distributed equally among those households present on any given workday and all surplus is contributed to Our Daily Bread, the downtown Baltimore agency that feeds the homeless.
